I did the same thing with my favorite recipes. We know there are magazines that feature our favorite recipes. As tempted, I rip it out from the magazine until my drawer ends like a garbage collector. Not to mention those that I printed from the internet, handwritten from a friend, and jotted down from a cooking show. They can really accumulate. So I start grouping the recipes together according to main ingredient, pork, beef, poultry, seafood, pasta, fruits and vegetables. Then I just slip them into a clearbook. Clearbooks are readily available in office or educational supply store. Voila, neat and clean.
In this manner, I can always keep my loose recipes protected from food spills. In addition, I also color coded my clearbooks. So everytime, I want to cook something, I can always remember where to locate a certain recipe.
